As the FG Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished goods inventory, managing the inventory control system, and maintaining a compliant and efficient supply chain.

 

Job Description

The FG Tech will be responsible for managing the finished goods inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining a compliant and efficient supply chain. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all finished goods are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and comply with company policies and regulations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of finished goods, including visual inspections, label and packaging inspections, and quality control tests, to ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory control system, including tracking inventory levels, monitoring expiration dates, and implementing a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure that all finished goods are properly labeled, packaged, and stored according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to inventory control and finished goods management, and ensure that all procedures are up-to-date and compliant with current regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain, to ensure that all finished goods are delivered on time, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in investigations related to quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances, and work with the Quality Assurance team to develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory control and finished goods management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment, with a focus on inventory control, quality control, or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and FDA guidelines related to finished goods management, inventory control, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory control software systems.
