Job Description

The Production Planner will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules for our facility. The Planner will work closely with other departments to ensure that all necessary materials and resources are available for production, and will monitor production progress to ensure that schedules are being met.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain production schedules for our facility, taking into account available resources, customer demand, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are available for production.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production schedules are aligned with customer demand and company goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules and progress, and report on key performance indicators to management.
  • Ensure that all production processes comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as supply chain management or business administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical production processes and regulatory requirements is preferred but not required.
