Job Description

The Shipping Supervisor at Atilar Pharma is responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving operations of the company. The role involves coordinating with various departments within the company, including production, quality assurance, and customer service, to ensure that all orders are processed and shipped in a timely and accurate manner.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of the shipping and receiving team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure that all orders are processed and shipped in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as production and quality assurance, to ensure that all products are available for shipment on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, including inventory levels, order status, and shipping documentation.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all shipments meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with customers and vendors regarding shipping schedules, order status, and delivery issues.
  • Manage shipping and receiving supplies and equipment, and coordinate maintenance and repair as necessary.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for shipping pharmaceutical products, including cGMP and FDA regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, as needed.
