Job Description
As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are shipped safely and efficiently to our customers. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other members of the operations team to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prioritize the shipping of all customer orders.
- Prepare and print shipping labels and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure that all products are packaged safely and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update the inventory management system.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Participate in inventory management activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical shipping preferred.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
